Bridging width for rotary dies and flat dies

Update: 2021-12-31

We Grandcorp Group Limited was established in Taiwan in 1983, have been in die making industry for almost 40 years. We are the first Rotary die make in China. And our Group has 39 branches in domestic and abroad, and the number of branches is still increasing.

We not only communicate with Japanese and European counterparts for technology, which make our technology continue to upgrade, but also we share some of our experience with our customers, about how to make the cutting dies more accurate and with longer service life.

For example, during the process of making flat die, for most case,  the width of the bridging only need 5 mm to 8 mm. While when you make the rotary die, the width of the bridging need to range from 12 mm to 16 mm. The reason is that, for flat die, it only need to bear the pressure from the vertical direction, 5 mm to 8 mm bridging is still fine for plywood structure of the die. But for the rotary die, it not only need to bear the pressure from the vertical direction, but also need to bear the pressure from the rotary direction. So, 5mm to 8mm bridging is not enough for the plywood structure. The bridging width need to be more wider. Normally, it requires to at least 12 mm.

Grandcorp is open-minded, we welcome more and more customers to exchange die making technology, and we will never stop our steps to keep on improving.
